I’ve always wanted to work in the advertising industry, which is why I chose to study a BA in Marketing Communications. Originally from South Africa, I moved to New Zealand in 2004, armed with my degree from the University of Johannesburg.
I started working for a niche advertising agency in Wellington, where I handled all kinds of advertising for my clients. From liaising with clients and production to making media bookings and co-ordinating suppliers, this role gave me a thorough grounding in the industry.
In 2006 I moved to London and landed an exciting job with an Experiential marketing agency. Working with high profile clients such as Cadburys, Unilever, Virgin and Eat Natural in the fast-paced UK market was a real challenge and an incredible learning experience.
I get a real buzz from the fast-paced advertising environment and love a challenge.
I also love to travel and be outdoors, you won't find me inside on a sunny day! |
